If you want high-level firearms training, AET stands out. I’ve trained with multiple instructors over the years, and the consistency, professionalism, and depth of knowledge here are on a different level. From the outset, the emphasis on safety is unmistakable. Every drill and explanation is structured to build real competence, not just go through the motions. Instruction is straightforward, practical, and adapts well to different experience levels, whether you’re new or already proficient. A big differentiator is how dynamic the classes are. This isn’t a static curriculum you run through once and outgrow. You can take the same course multiple times and have a completely different experience each time. Jonesy and Heath adjust the flow, drills, and focus areas in real time based on the skill level of the group. Even something like a basic pistol course can be taken a dozen times without feeling repetitive. What separates AET is the level of intent behind the instruction. The instructors are invested in your progress. They pay attention to details others overlook and make sure you understand both the “how” and the “why.” You walk away from each session with clear takeaways and a plan to improve. They also create an environment that balances discipline with approachability. There’s a strong sense of mutual respect and a shared focus on responsible ownership and continuous development. If you’re serious about building skill and confidence, this is time and money well spent.

I recently attended a 3 day tactical shotgun course, in St. George, UT. I’ve attended many courses from many different outfits. This one was amazing. The instructor was always prepared, knowledgeable and organized. The training was safe and also challenging. I look forward to the next course.

I thought I was just taking a fighting shotgun course but I also got a pistol, and a medical class. At the end of 3 days I could shoot in and around a vehicle in a team and incorporate medical into the scenario. Where else are you going to get that. 10/10 some of the best money I have ever spent.

I just took a shotgun course with Jonesy at AET. I have been around guns all my life but this was my first official training class. It was a great time and I learned so much. Class was fun, challenging, and made you think. I came away a better shooter and Jonesy is a great instructor. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend AET!

The precision rifle class from AET was just what I needed to brush up on my rifle skills and hone the fundamentals before leaving for an African Safari. Jonesy does a wonderful job of making complicated concepts easy to understand. He was a huge help and gave me the confidence to reach out at longer ranges than I would have otherwise felt comfortable.

We had a rifle and pistol training class all day earlier this week. We learned a LOT! A CWP class is a joke compared to this. Our instructor's knowledge, skill, and teaching ability were all through the roof. Looking forward to rebooking.

Attended a training session with Armored Eagle and came away with a whole new level of respect and understanding when it comes to handling firearms properly. The day was packed with great hands-on training, solid safety practices, and real-world applications. What really stood out was the individual attention the instructor gave to each of us, taking the time to break things down, answer questions, and make sure we understood the “why” behind every movement. Whether you're new to firearms or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend training with Armored Eagle.

We booked a corporate day at the range and had a great experience. The team learned a ton and had a great time doing it. If you're looking for a unique team building exercise and you want to hone your skills in the safe and responsible use of firearms this is the move.
