Jeff Dooley is the owner and lead instructor of Personal Responsibility LLC. He is a retired Sergeant for a local law enforcement agency with over 26 years of experience. In 2024 Jeff returned to full time LE work as the Training Coordinator and Professional Standards Sgt. for a rural county in southern middle Tennessee. During his career Jeff served in numerous units, including the Crime Suppression and Narcotics units, SWAT and K-9 units, CID, Patrol, and Firearms Training Unit. Jeff is a Rangemaster with Gunsite Academy in Paulden AZ where he teaches pistol, rifle, shotgun, and CQP classes. Jeff is a life member of the NRA, NRA certified pistol instructor, member of IALEFI, a certified Tennessee P.O.S.T. firearms and tactics instructor, and certified FBI firearms instructor. Ron Fielder retired from the Metro Nashville PD after 35 years of service. He served as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Officer, and was with SWAT for 20 years retiring as Team Leader and Senior Firearms Instructor. Ron spent 5 years as a Sergeant with CIS, responsible for tracking persistent violent offenders. Ron has instructed for local, state, and federal agencies. He has been an instructor at Gunsite since 2000. He teaches Pistol, Shotgun, Carbine, and Rifle. Ron just retired again from teaching at Gunsite and Personal Responsibility. However, his contributions and life long commitment to this craft will live on in the classes taught here. Ron will make appearances from time to time but his main focus is to relax and enjoy life after his second retirement

Ashley is a Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and has a decade of law enforcement experience. Ashley is an NRA member. She continues to train in firearms and self-defense. Some notable training  includes Gunsite Academy, Personal Responsibility and Steve Tarani. She is a State certified firearms instructor, a TBI Firearms Instructor, and an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor. R.A.D. certified instructor. Ashley is also a certified Glock Armorer. Ashley continues to educate herself in the world of firearms, self-defense, and tactics.
