ASP Firearm Training

Loc's background is three gun competition, active shooter training with local law enforcement agencies, teaches all ages from young kids in Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts to senior citizens with disabilities.Steve grew up with a family that owned and managed a liquor store in California. It did not take long for predators to attempt to rob the store and threaten the lives of his family. They had to learn to be open to firearms and training in order to defend our business and lives.Steve have has no military or law enforcement background. He graduated college with a degree in Business Administration and have over 10 years experience working and training employees in information technology companies. He have always been passionate about self defense, protecting others, learning, and teaching. His firearms knowledge include casually shooting for 15 years, training more seriously for 5 years, earning a NRA Pistol Instructor certification, and teaching firearms classes professionally for over a 1 year.Steve's goals as a firearms instructor is to help new and seasoned gun owners in understanding the fundamentals, building their confidence levels, and inspiring them to train and push their performance. He also believes that a true master never stops learning. He is always looking for new ways to improve my capabilities as a shooter and instructor.Andrew was in the Marine Corps. While he was in, his job was Small Arms Repair Technician or Armorer for short. During his time, he got to work on just about every type of weapon system you can think of. He learned a lot about proper firearm safety, components and functions, as well as how to shoot them accurately. He was an Expert qualifying shooter forboth rifle and pistol. Leaving the Marines, he wanted to take his skills that he had learned and pass them on to others. His goal is to teach civilians how to use a firearm to be able to defend themselves and their families. At ASP, he doesn’t bring that Marine Corps Drill Instructor
