Founded by Joel Steele, a Texas A&M graduate, Marine Corps veteran, and former FBI agent, this training company is built on a foundation of real-world experience and a deep-seated commitment to excellence. Operating from their family ranch in Graham, Texas, they offer a unique training environment rooted in tradition and proven capability. For shooters seeking instruction grounded in professional expertise and a no-nonsense philosophy, Steele Precision Shooting represents a direct link to a heritage of skill, service, and steadfast values.

Joel Steele is the founder and lead instructor. He is a former FBI Special Agent, SWAT Operator, and Sniper. He instructed the TCOLE 3324 Sniper curriculum for multiple Texas jurisdictions and is an NRA-certified Pistol and Personal Protection instructor. A US Marine Corps veteran, he holds multiple instructor ratings in martial arts and foreign weapons programs. He has competitive shooting experience in styles associated with PRS/NRL and grew up competing in 4H Rimfire and 300m Benchrest. He also has experience as a hunting guide.
