What needs fixing?
This course introduces students to techniques applicable to the defensive use of the handgun, with emphasis on shooting skill development for real-life circumstances. It covers the fundamentals of Mindset, Gun-handling, and Marksmanship in lecture, with practical application on the range. Additional topics include situational awareness, equipment selection, safety, handling, malfunctions, drawing and firing techniques, single-handed firing, firing from cover, and engaging multiple targets.
Prerequisites
Full size or compact handgun (No sub-compact), outside waistband holster, one magazine pouch (two recommended), 200 rounds of ammunition.
