APT Firearms Academy was founded in 1984 by BJ Johnson. The academy's instructors have decades of real-world experience in their respective fields. They specialize in a wide range of skills including handguns, rifles, shotguns, submachine guns, patrol rifles, night vision, marksmanship, gun and knife fighting, active shooter response, Missouri concealed carry (CCW), personal security, survival skills, team tactics, executive protection, counter-ambush driving, and tactical combat casualty care. The school offers courses for all skill levels from beginners to experienced professionals, as well as custom-designed group courses.
