Randy Davis leads Zero Theory’s sniper program leveraging his more than two decades of experience as a professional sniper in both the U.S. Army and as a stateside law enforcement officer. He has extensive combat experience having served in both the 75th Ranger Regiment and as an infantry sniper assigned to the Army’s very first Stryker Brigade. After the army, he went back to work overseas as a security contractor in high risk areas before returning stateside to become a law enforcement officer, SWAT sniper, and sniper instructor. He has been profiled by the New York Times, American Rifleman magazine, and featured on the TV show Trigger Time TV. He was previously the lead instructor for the Mississippi Tactical Officers Association (MTOA) sniper school and a full-time detailee to the FBI’s violent crimes task force in a major metro city. Zach Stamp is a federal agent who spent a decade in the U.S. Army’s Special Forces community including assignments to both the 5th and 20th Special Forces groups. Most of that time was spent in the sniper program as a rifle instructor and an accomplished competitive precision marksman. He completed multiple combat deployments and collected years of experience teaching Special Forces snipers, including an assignment as the Program Manager for the 20th group’s Special Forces Sniper Course. He is well known in the Southeast in the precision rifle competition scene as both a competitor and match director. At Zero Theory, Zach combines his distinguished military experience with a remarkably-approachable teaching style, resulting in a distinct enhancement to our distance-oriented training courses. Jason Nixon leads Zero Theory’s scoped carbine initiatives which covers pretty much anything involving LPVOs, DMR/SPRs, or designated marksman programs. He has more than a decade of experience as a federal agent for a large three-letter agency, including assignment as a SWAT sniper/assaulter. He is a Firearms Instructor, Tactical Instructor, and Vehicle Tactics Instructor. He regularly instructs state/local police officers and federal agents in pistols, tactics, precision shooting, and more. He believes in shooting “cold, on demand, in front of strangers, and with no home field advantage.” At Zero Theory, Jason brings an undeniable passion for teaching and a demonstrated ability to present complex topics in a simple, understandable way.
