HEAT 2 Combat Patrol

A tactical trainer and author who served as a professional soldier in British elite forces and as a paramilitary contractor. He was enlisted and later commissioned into the Parachute Regiment through Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Max served in multiple combat deployments and filled roles including rifle platoon commander, patrol leader, recruit instructor, anti-armor platoon commander, operations officer, and command positions. Following UKSF selection, he completed one final deployment before resigning to pursue paramilitary contracting work in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since 2013, he has operated Max Velocity Tactical, offering professional combat training and pre-deployment preparation for U.S. Special Operations Forces, specializing in small unit tactics. He is a U.S. Citizen.

A retired U.S. Army Infantry First Sergeant with 23 years of active duty service across various assignments including LRSC, light infantry, OPFOR, and advisory roles. His deployments include Gulf War 1 as a scout in an LRS team, Bosnia as an ATL in an LRS team, Afghanistan as an infantry platoon sergeant, and Afghanistan as an adviser to the ANA and ANP. He has served in multiple overseas assignments training with NATO allies. He maintains a lifelong passion for military history and applies those lessons to MVT's training programs.
